Herb, getreidig, ehrlich, rund. 10/8/9/8/11/8

Bottle fro Sylt thanks to Hannes. Brown with a foamy to frothy head. Aroma of roasted grains, caramel—overall quite grainy. The taste is the highlight—full of rich caramel and dark bread sweetness with enough grainy bitterness at the finish to keep things in balance. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation. An above average Dunkles.

330ml bottle [courtesy of Lars - thanks a lot!]. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with huge, thick, fluffy-creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Grassy and slightly fruity, hoppy aroma, grainy malty background with a touch of wet straw, unspecific fruitiness, maybe some lime, a mineral touch, salted lemon, waxy lime peel. Taste is biscuity malty, minimally citrusy fruity, slightly grassy hoppy, a mineral, salty spicy touch, a touch of lime and salted lemon. Well balanced, quite refreshing; hard to rubricate by the way, maybe a flavoured Golden Ale - quite decent overall.

Bottle, 6.0%. Mild spicy aroma, perhaps some rye bread. Hazy brown colour. Big stable creamy tan head. The flavour is very malty, but not too sweet. Spicy, seemingly from the hops, and with a roasted note in the finish.

Bottle, 4.7%. Nice caramelly aroma. Hazy golden colour. Big stable creamy white head. The flavour also has a caramelly hoppiness, this time also piney. A little watery flavour, but the mouthfeel is good. Also considering the ABV.
