Dark mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma roasted malt, mild chocolate and hints of chili. Flavour was sweet with chili, hard roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. The chili came out right in this one. Nicely balanced. Not bad.

On tap. Pours with a large, tan head over a near black body. Head fades to a ring. Aroma...well it smells exactly like a hotel room pillow chocolate. Green herbal mint. Unique aroma that is sweet. Not sure how to rate that numerically as it smells like the real deal! Flavor does not hold its end up as well. Taste is the same but a whole lot drier, which emphasizes the mint over the chocolate. The end result is akin to Scope or some other minty mouthwash with a bit of anise. They need to add some lactose, or some unfermentable, to sweeten this beer up to allow the chocolate to balance out the mint. Mouthfeel is somewhat dry and thin.
