Tap @ Troost during ’oudjaarsticken 2014’, small sample. Hazy to cloudy brown color, short head. Aroma of sweet caramel, slight roast, toast. Quite sweet in taste, much sweeter than the regular bock. Ok stuff.

Tap @ Troost during ’oudjaarsticken 2014’, small sample. Hazy brown color, short head. Aroma of caramel and toast, earthy hops, bit fruity as well. Slight bitter in taste, bit sweet. More malty and bitter than the Dubbelbok.

Tap @ Troost during ’oudjaarsticken 2014’, small sample. Almost clear yellow to golden color, short off-white head. Aroma of slight grainy malt, bit flowery and grassy hops, sulphury yeast. Soft bitter in taste, bit sulphury again. Ok.

On tap at Troost. ABV is 6.8%. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of caramel, cocoa, some coffee, husks, malts, dark fruits. Flavour is medim sweet, malty, cocoa, hint of coffee, husks, caramel, chocolate, decent bitter finish with some dark fruits. Medium-bodied. Nice.

Draught @ the brewery. Hazy orangy color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste as expected, malts, yeast, moderately bitter. Decent body and carbonation. No faults but not really my thing.

Draught @ the brewery. Hazy yellow color, medium sized off-white head. Smell and taste wheat, loads of yeast, banana, sweetish. Decent body and carbonation. Not bad I guess but not my style of beer.

Draught @ the brewery. Hazy orange color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, hops, lightly grassy, fruit hops. Taste malts, hops, fruit hops, nicely fruity bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Hmm well quite like it.

Draught @ the brewery. Opaque brown color, medium sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, sweet, slightly leaves and and a touch of caramel. Not bad at all.

[ As Troost I.P.A. ].Hazy medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, fruity, old hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, hoppy, sweet malt, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140929]
