Almost headless, copperbrown beer. Aroma is quite mild, toffee, some roastiness and ripe fruitness. Taste is fruitfull, bananas, some spicyness and roasteness, also drying hoppyness. Medium bodied, no carbonation, slippery to drink. Slightly controversial beer, nothing to complain, but still not very enjoyable.

Bottled (From Alko, Vaasa). Copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, fruits, caramel, some slight floral notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same. Lacks the banana and spicyness that the 25 v juhlaolut had. Rather sweet finish.

33cl bottle from Alko. Poured brown with no head, almost no CO2. Aroma is mostly bread, caramel and alcohol. Flavor is malt, bread, caramel and alcohol, some spiciness in finish. Agree with jookos here, felt more like a doppelbock.

Aroma is sweet with banana, strawberries and some yeast. Flavour is a bit weird with banana, some strawberries, licorice and hints of alcohol. Could use more CO2 on palate. Gets stronger on alcohol when warming up. A cheap, plastic replica of sahti.

Bottled 330ml (Alko, BB 10/2012)
Clear, dark amber-brown color, small head. Sweet nose has raisins and wood. Medium-bodied, mouthfeel feels flat. Sweetish flavor with raisins, banana, wood, malt. Alcohol in the aftertaste, some bitterness. A bit weird ... maybe this could work with some greasy food.

Aroma is stale and slightly fruity with grainy malt and hints of rowans. Feels like lager! Palate is low on CO2. Flavour is slightly fruity and stale with grainy malt, some rowans and old cheese. Somewhat acidic and slightly dry finish. Stale and a bit boring, but could pair with some foods. However, with my chicken pot and blue cheese it didn’t.
