Draught @ SOPP 2010. Originally rated on 30.7.2010. A bit more tastier and easy to drink version of their sahti.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Clear pale amber, firm head. Fruity ashy nose. Mid sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Mild notes of banana and herbs. Salty, spicy bitterness.

No head, flat-looking and ugly. The nose is distinct and strong, sour and sweet and mildly acrid, not good but curious. Tastes insane, with a honey-sweet maltiness coupled with lemon-tart sour and a toasted, woodsy, herbal-honey finish that would definitely be nicer with a few bubbles. I can’t go so far as saying I like it, but this beer is history in a bottle, so I dig what it represents.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and butterscotch. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, bread, and spices, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of oh6gdx. Pours a clear deep golden with a small, rough white head. Sweet malty nose, a tad caramellish. Medium body, fairly clean malt bill, again slightly caramellish with a dry and bitter finish - almost astringent. Not sure that this is top-fermented, doesn’t appear to be. 100511
