12oz bottle pours out brown topped with a small head. Nose is big booze maple syrup notes rum barrel and some grain. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts maple rum barrel kick and plenty booze.

Bottle. Pours an oily black with a dark brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of maple with some sweet dark grains and a bitter roast backbone. Flavor is more bitter roasted malt forward with growing maple and sweet dark grains backing.

355ml bottle. Clear, dark chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, nutty, dark malty aroma, notes of hezelnut, toasted nuts, nougat, some toffee, milk chocolate, fudge. Taste is sweet, dark malty, notes of vanilla, hundreds and thousands, hazelnut, nougat, some toffee. Viscous, creamy texture, super soft, smooth palate, fine and soft carbonation; well, though not completely hidden alcohol. A tad too sweet, too much vanilla for my personal liking - good.

Big smoked porter purple label stuck on a chrome pounder american can.Its big and quite dark. Looks yummy. Slight old bacon grease smell. But hey, I like the smell of bacon, old or new! In the middle its quite acceptable for a smoked beer. Taste is about 6% fer sure. Becomes increasingly smokey, almost difficult in the end. Finish is smokey and straight up ass, shit.

355ml bottle. Jet black colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish, toasty, roasty, dark and caramel malty, nutty aroma, notes of peanuts, roasted peanuts, dark caramel, some chocolate, a salty spicy touch. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately and caramel malty, dry roasty, slightly salty and nutty, notes of peanuts, toasted peanuts, dark caramel. Watery to creamy texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously dry and minimally spicy-pungent palate, fine, soft carbonation. Intense peanut flavours, good balance overall - nice.

Can from Tavour. Pours very dark brn/blk with a huge creamy darkish tan head. Aroma of coffee, marshmallow, vanilla and toasted malt. Full bodied. Flavor is coffee, caramel, vanilla, lactose and hints of chocolaty dark/toasted malt. Not excessively sweet. Moderately burnt malt bitter. But the sweet cannot be evaded. Amazing what can be done to make beer.

Can, courtesy of drfabulous. Pours murky deep brown, certainly a little awkward. Big synthetic blueberry aroma, tangerine, grapefruit, grape soda, tangelo. Good soft body. Tasty.
