12 oz. Aroma is peanut butter, chocolate, roasted peanuts. Pours black with a thin tan head that falls quickly into a ring. Taste is highly sweet, a bit savory, a hint of tartness, with flavors of Butterfingers, licorice. Delicious!

It's pretty good but not mind-blowing like other chickows I've had, drunk me must have ordered this thinking it was BA. Nice upfront hazelnut and coffee, short thin finish, strong brown ale malt nose.

Taster at brewery. Dark brown with spotty beige head. Roasty malt aroma, chocolate and a hint of maple. More maple notes in the taste, sweet, balanced and glowing warmth. Silky smooth. Stunning.

Taster at taproom. Black, still pour, tiny ring of head. Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pies, always a vice of mine. Aroma is chocolate and vanilla, sweet, maybe a hint of cinnamon. Roasty malts pick up in the taste, more sweetness, oat creaminess, plus some ABV.

Taster at brewery. Hazy pale yellow, grapefruit juice, patchy head. Light citrusy aroma. Taste is grapefruit, tangerine and lemon peel, zesty. Miss my 4 cats....

12oz bottle from Tavour. Dark brown, clear, small beige head. Aroma is dark roast malt, a touch of coffee and hint of nuts. Tastes of these are much stronger, coffee up front followed by the hazelnuts, finishing with a warm glow. Lovely!

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy emerald green, small greenish head. Candy aroma, gummy bears. Taste subdues the candy a bit, adds some sour notes and a small bitterness at the finish. Alcohol shows itself after a while.
