--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear copper colour, rich firm head. Toasty nose with mild peat. Dry with light body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Salty and toasty with hints of peat and grass. Mid bitter finish. Unspectacular perhaps, but harmonious and unassuming. Would love to drink pints of this in Kerry.

Flavour is fruity, some toffee and mild wooden tones with some slight herbs. 2-3 % more to this and it would kick ass with the elements there is (with the sweetness from malts added to get abv up)

ABV: 4.5%. Clear dark dark brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, dusty, grass, leather, funk. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted, burnt bitter, leather, dry. 14/1/2023. Can at the Haderslebener tasting. Pours hazy pale yellow gold with a small frothy white head. Very odd aroma, like walking into a pub late evening before the smoking ban came in when you're hit by a wall of second hand smoke. This was alongside some oak chippings and burnt rubber. Not an enjoyable aroma, though it tasted better, but was slightly watery and quite fizzy.
