Half a liter can. Pours rather clear, very dark brown. Small grey head. Smell is bit bitter, mild aromatic maltyness. Taste is very aromatic, earthy, intense notes of dark chocolate, even some mild coffee. The mouthfeel, even though very alright, is a bit to the thin side. If it were more thick, i’d really, really dig this one !

Golden color, good white foam. Aroma: malt, sweet, corn sticks with sugar, alcohols. Taste: sweet, alcoholized, malt, a bit dirty. Sad.

Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzyste. Beżowa piana. W aromacie czuć suszone owoce i śliwki w czekoladzie. W smaku natomiast bardzo przyjemna gorzka czekolada, kawowa paloność. Piwo gęste. Bardzo dobre.

CAN 50 CL. Almost black, beige head. Big dark crystal malts with a touch of roast and alcohol - that adds some complexity, to a mostly straight forward beer. The taste is similar, lots of dark caramel, hints of roast and grassy bitterness. Big sticky body. That is a archetypal Baltic porter.

Barwa ciemnobrunatna, rubinowe przebłyski, piana niezbyt obfita, szybko się redukuje. W aromacie ciemne słody, ciemny chleb, słodka kawa. W smaku słodkie, taka trochę przesłodzona kawa, mało paloności, wyczuwalny alkohol, głównie wiśniowo-likierowy, słodkie, ciemne owoce. Brakuje goryczki, treściwości trochę też, wysycenie w normie, nie do końca dobrze zbalansowane - słodycz jednak trochę za bardzo dominuje. Ogólnie nie jest źle, da się wypić z przyjemnością, jednak do najlepszych porterów bałtyckich sporo jednak brakuje.
