Press deep amber, almost copper with a large lasting head.
Nose shows rich malt, heavy pine and resinous hops, soft bready malt, faint petrol-like hops, very dank.
Flavours include more rich malt, but not particularly sweet. Big resinous and dank hops, with some soft grapefruit behind. Followed by an aggressive, almost abrasive bitterness as expected.

From a 440ml can on 26/12/2025. Pours a clear amber with a medium head. The nose is malty with some pine and resin in the mix. The taste follows suit - caramel and toasted malt, finishing very bitter with more pine and resin. Full bodied with a slightly oily palate, and average carbonation. I really like the Arrogant Bastard and this is a more than decent nod to it, if not quite as satisfying or in your face.

Can. Gold, small white head. Aroma of orange rind, lemon travel lollies, some pine and peach, crackers. Very UK golden ale-like with tropical as well as citrusy hops, white grapes, a drying and moderately bitter finish.

Been a while since I've had Arrogant Bastard. I came around to it a bit. Can. Clear brownish amber with an off white head. Aroma of grapefruit, singed caramel, pine, some peach. Shouty with singed notes in the malt rather than depth and punchy citrus and pine before strong bitterness. Pretty good and certainly recognisable.

Aromas of resin, pine, bread and orange. It's an intense experience on the tongue, with the alcohol dominating. Its best quality is that it will get you drunk quickly.

Pours amber with a small white head.
Nose shows raspberry and lemon, little else.
Flavours include raspberry, a soft acidity amongst the sweetness. A little cloying.

Can. Black with a cm+ of tan head. Smells of aniseed-laced liquorice. But there's more to the taste - bready sweetness, a fair bit of roast, hints of stone fruit, spicy bitterness that's intensified by the herbal notes. Quite silky. Weird but good.

Pours gold with a large fading head.
Nose shows bready malt, spicy herbal and grassy hops.
Flavours include biscuity malt, spicy hops, soft grainy malt before finishing with an assertive bitterness, perhaps more on the line of a german pilsner.
