Big and black from a bottle and it has a nice creamy head. Smells like your typical pastry stout, you know, weirdly sweet and volatile. First taste is of course nothing like stout, its cloying and sweet. Not sure what we see in this style, it's quite often so revolting to the lager lover. What-bullshit-ever. Yes, sweet is the overriding rude ass attribute, unbalanced, to say the least. Cannot enjoy. OK for a tick but I would never buy this as a beer to enjoy. The nasty cloying attribute almost actuates the gag reflex. Needs more carbonation to offset the mouth coating characteristic of this brew. You know, at least they could have given me a higher ABV to make it worth my while. Then I may forget how rude this brew is. There, you have it. So be it. Somebody please give me a clean pale cheap lager for a chaser, thanks.
