Description
Une Anneé, an Independent Craft Brewery, was born, in 2013, on the near west side of Chicago, with the quest of making fine Belgian inspired ales for all beer lovers. Founded by architect and Chicago native, Jerry Nelson, Une Anneé, has expanded it’s offerings over the years with an emphasis on fruited and unfruited American Wile Ales and Barrel Aged Stouts. In 2017, the brewery moved to neighboring Chicago suburb, Niles, IL and expanded to include a taproom. The working brewery in the background lends a hand to creating a laid back atmosphere where you can sit back and enjoy some of your favorite craft beers on tap.

I'm not at all a nerd in any way, but apparently this is my 4000th beer. Huh! #noregrets This is aggressively dry-hopped, to the point where at first I thought I was mistakenly served an IPA. Faint wild ale vibes come through when focusing.

Can't believe I used to dislike raspberry in beer. This is delicious. And always great when your favorite beer style happens to be the cheapest thing on the taplist.

$3.85 pint can, WW. Hazy, almost murky brown with a small beige head. Plum, gum, dark cherry, yeast nose. Flavor is quite tasty: plum, spice, fig newton (yes, including the newton), black cherry. A little earthy, quite enjoyable.
