Juicy, creamy, oaty or something unfiltered ipa. Smooth, too creamy, tasty. Pretty decent hazy ipa, nuthin special.

12oz bottle. Pretty solid for the style, not overly sticky but still a little adjunct centered I suppose. The backbone Imperial Porter seems quite solid, I would assume a more enjoyable beer without the coffee or coconut, which give it that artificial edge that plagues the beer world in 2021. Still has that but not really an impressive coffee or coconut tone. Quite drinkable for the ABV, no real alcohol heat. OK.

12oz bottle. A return to form for the My Turn series, which had been in a pastry rut. This just teeters into full bodied, very easy drinking for the ABV. Not as hoppy as a California stout perhaps. Big, rich, caramel-chocolate malt tones. On the edge of a deep brown ale. Really good, the kind of beer we need more of.

That’s good! The coffee was aged in rum barrels and the coconut is yumtious. Pic: rain humidity

Bottle thanks to Drake! Pours black, or nearly so. Dusting of a head. Coconut and chocolate dominate the nose, along with some coffee and vanilla. Dark and milk chocolate, coconut, vanilla, caramel, coffee, roasted malt. Quite tasty, not too boozy for the abv.

The aromas are dry green and biscuits. Flavors are similar to nose with a little floral, spice and herbs. A little on the sweet side but with good carbonation and okay body. Drinkable beer but forgettable.

The rate at which rate beer is losing reviews is increasing. The aromas are malt, caramel, with a bit of fruit and minerals. Flavors are like nose, a bit sweet up front with a nice balance of carbonation and bitter. Decent example of the beer style.

Whew boy, my first 14% farmhouse ale. Aged for SIX years in brandy barrels, it’s a brandy explosion in aroma and flavor. Lots of tawny port dark fruit fig-itude going on, oak, bit of vanilla. Medium burn. Monster of a beer. Their best that I’ve had.
