Can to shaker. Pours a hazy, dark lemon yellow with a half finger of thick white head. Aroma is citrusy, fruity and tropical. Taste follows suit, pineapple and lemon zest dominate. Light bodied, medium carbonation and a somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Decent overall, nothing to seek out in my opinion but I’d have no issue drinking a couple.

12 oz can. Aroma is packed with tropical fruit notes, from mango to coconut to pineapple—most likely artificial, but I can’t tell. Smells good. Pours hazy golden with a half finger bone-white head that reduces quickly to a ring and skiff of foam. Taste is lightly bitter with loads of tropical fruit character. Body is pretty thin and watery.

375ml corked and caged bottle - probably one of the more subtly sour sour ales I’ve had in a while, which I have honestly missed - subtle tartness, acid, and tannic qualities up front make way for chocolate, vanilla, oak, cherry - sweet through the middle, and lightly warming, followed by a resurgence of drier tannic notes and lightly warming whiskey followed by a mild funk - dry, oaky finish - every once in a while New Belgium releases something that shows me they still have it.

Pours clear blonde, amber glow. Small white head, stable but not very creamy lookin'. Scent is medium crystal malt-forward, whiff of pine hopy notes. Not very intense for the abv or style. Taste is fairly bitter, mildly sweet. pine is clear, some crystal malts. Not amazing, certainly a bit underwhelming for the ABV, but equally certainly enjoyable as a random beer. Decent !

Smells of juicy citrus and mango. The fruit is assertive in the flavor. It’s malty with a little piney character. Bitterness is mild to moderate. This is even more like a hazy than the Hop Dynasty though it’s not sold as one.

Pours clear gold with a two finger, dense white head. Smells of tropical fruit and hop resin. The flavor is quite malty with tropical fruit and moderate bitterness at most. Mild pine / resin. They obviously filtered this one and they aren’t calling it a hazy IPA, but given the not all that high bitterness level and malty sweetness, to me it’s closer to a hazy than the advertised west coast style imperial IPA.

12 oz bottle. Pours a largely clear amber with a white head. Dark fruit aroma, molasses, bourbon. Flavor is bourbon forward with notes of oak, dark fruit, molasses, caramel, and some booze. Body is fairly restrained for a 9% beer. I think I'd like a bit more body. Overall tasty, though.
