Can. Black, a coat of tan head does not last. Rich mocha and roast aroma with singed sugars and oak. Australian Imperial Stouts are often rummy anyway. Full bodied, low carbonation. Rich with dark chocolate, brooding roast, Welsh Cakes, dark sugars, oozing bitterness, oak. Manages not to be too sweet or too insistent on the palate despite its strength. Good.

Can. Just unclear deep red with a cream head that fades to a fat coat. Spicy and earthy aroma with bread. Fruity but not all that sweet with lots of spice and a bit of earth before a firmly bitter finish. Needed a little more body or sweetness but OK.

Can. Clear amber with an off white head. Aroma has some caramel behind spices and weeds. Balance is revealed upon a swig with sweet sticky bread crust, some stewed fruit and weedy bitterness.

Can. Clear brownish amber with a modest white head. Aroma of breadcrust, spices, pine, twigs, grapefruit. Sweet with rich caramelised breadcrust, oozing pine, tenor register citrus. Softens a bit towards a nagging bitter finish which doesn't quite snap because it's still fairly sweet. Nice.

Can. Amber with a fat coat of pale beige head. Brooding kumquat, pine and breadcrust aroma. Some citrus over the caramelised sweetness in the malt but then a real slug of resinous bitterness. Pretty good.

Can. Cloudy orange with a head that fades from 2cm. Aroma of citrus - as much lemon as orange really - cloves, banana, slightly twangy wheat crackers. Maybe not as soft as you'd hope but they've done well with the balance - crackery bread with some body, citrus, only a hint of banana, cloves and a dryish finish. Refreshing.

Pours amber with a large white head.Nose shows mango, passion fruit, nectarine, and papaya along with some confectionery like malt notes.Flavours include more mango and some peach, along with toffee and faint caramel.Body feels somewhat watery.
