Cask at Whitelocks, Leeds on 8th July 2022. Hazy amber with a shallow but dense cream foam and scant lacing. Zesty citrus aroma. Gently sweet fruity blend with citrus peel in-mouth. A zesty citrus finish with a little rear-mouth bitterness. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Very pleasant.

Keg @ Horsforth Brewery Tap Room, Horsforth. Black with next to no head. Has some roasted notes and a mild sweetness, and doesn’t feel a double-digit strenght, but also not blessed with a lot of flavour.

Bottle from Drink? Hebden Bridge. Amber-red hazy looking brew with a thin head. Raspberry is gentle but stated enough in both aroma and taste to be the ale's dominant feature - it has a light sweetness about it too. Bottled in August 2018 it was perfectly fine nearly 4 years on.

Keg @ Horsforth Brewery Tap Room, Horsforth. Orange juice appearance with a very small head. Its aroma is dirty mango, and only just a little better in taste, so still not too appealing. Some fizz.

Keg draught at the Ale Stone, Aylestone. Golden brown and murky with a fairly tight beige head. Berry and stone fruit aromas here with light pine notes. Very bitterest taste with fleeting fruity sweetness (some orange and apricot) and a fresh spiciness, giving way to hop bitterness in the finish. Its a little bit heavy at the end but otherwise a brilliant balance. Enjoyable and unexpected.

Keg @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Black with an off-white creamy head. It has a dark malt taste, is crisp and all is easy as its texture is smooth.
