Deep brown body, medium tan head leaving nice lacing. Bitter, charred roasted malt aroma. Thin-bodied and very dry, dominated by the same roasted/charred malts noted in the aroma with peeks of dark chocolate and an almost bitingly bitter finish. Not worth the dough (or the barley, for that matter).

A dark amber beer with a fine head. The aroma is slightly fruity. The flavor is a smooth sweet maltyness combined with the Wye Valley yeast and an OK bitter end. An OK bitter.

[Cask at Gullivers, Copenhagen] An amber beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is sweet and fruity while the flavor is cask flat, sweet malty with notes of caramel. It is a nice beer.

[Cask at Gullivers, Copenhagen] An amber beer with a small beige head. The aroma is lighty fruity. The flavor is nicely fruity, slighlty sweet with notes of flowers and fresh hopflowers. It ends on a light bitterness.

[Cask at Gullivers, Copenhagen] An amber beer with a fine beige head. The aroma is slightly fruity. The flavor is fruity with lots of aroma hops (fuggles?) wich gives it grassy and oily notes, combined with orange and peach from the yeast. It ends on a slightly bitter note - but more bitterness on the tongue. A really nice beer.

[Cask at Gullivers, Copenhagen] A black beer with a beutiful chocolate brown head. The aroma is slightly sour combined with roasted notes - I wonder where the sourness comes from? The flavor is slightly sour with notes of coffee. The sourness pricles the tongue until it ends on a roasted malty dry note. A bad taste - on my tastebuds.

First off, this has the best, biggest, longest lasting, most substantial, creamy head I've seen. Good aroma, some spicy wheat and hops in there. Nice amber-red color, quite hazy, bottle conditioned. Tons of lacing. Seeping with quality. Flavor is quite round and very fluffy, but has some nice bitter elements on the finish. A touch of dry, chewy caramel malt. Incredibly well done, big body, but needs more complexity to back it up. Gets a touch boring towards the end.

Bottled. Cloudy pale orange. Strong perfumy aroma. Fruity and sweet with soft, filling mouthfeel and a lot of melon. Sugary finish.
