About
Great beer, great service, great space. Boiler Brewing Company and tap room is located in downtown Lincoln in the historic Grand Manse building. The stately stature of the Grand Manse is accurately reflected in the bold beers that brewmaster Tim Thomssen prefers to make. Aside from the ever rotating list of beers, mead and cider, food is also available. A unique experience in every glass.

Bottle at share.Black oil slick pour.Aroma is toasted coconut and chocolate. Taste is more coconut and chocolate backed up by a solid, thick roasty malt backbone. Bourbon notes creeep in but is not overly boozy. Best of the night.

Bottle thanks to Mike. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is marshmallow, cocoa, roast, bourbon, wood. Slick body, marshmallow fluff, brownie batter, cocoa, nice sweetness, boozy finish, very nice.

As good as the last, Black Forest berries, rich mingling with chocolate on the nose. Crude oil thick—doesn’t let any light through. Incredibly well balanced

Thick dark pour, cinnamon, maple, barrel vanilla up front. Incredibly smooth, like melted chocolate in the teeth, stays the same as it warms. Incredibly well-made. Tons of maple throughout.

Lovely to start, pure coffee nose. Thick crude oil black pour, almost no head. Bourbon-barrel sweetness, vanilla and cacao. As it warms, some under extracted capsicum notes from the coffee become a bit pronounced. Still no booze despite the abv

32oz crowler pours out golden topped with a small fizzy white head. Nose is big crisp pickles plenty pickle juice. Taste is more of the nice salt pickle brine fun to try, lucky for me I also had a jalapeño beer I blended in and make a spicy pickle good times. Once the crowler was empty I cut into it and pulled out that pickle spear, sadly it was a bit soggy.

Pours black, small tanned head. Scent is mild chocolate, fairly thin and straifght forward. not very complex, maple is very hidden. no traces of the other adjuncts. taste is sharp, bit boozy, intense alcohol, a mild tartness, almost reminding of berries ( rather than actual infection ). Maple is very hidden. Not sure if this is labeled wrong, or it's just not what it should be.
