Super hazy golden and peach coloured body with a thin off-white head. Aroma of crisp and super pungent tropical fruits and super apricot-y fruit scents with a nice balance of malt, some subtle yeast and alcohol and even more fruity bitterness. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and tropically fruity hop flavour at first with a big dose of pine and resin right behind with a touch of pure citrus and grain right afterwards. Aftertaste shows the fruits and bitter pungency throughout without much malt or bite, but there is some nice sweetness and a lot of juice notes that make this go down easily. Overall, a super nice and enjoyable New England-based IPA from the middle of Nebraska on draught that should be sampled if you can get it fresh! Sampled alongside the Simcoe and Equinox, and while I thought this beer was the best, all three were respectable. I sampled this four ounce pour on draught for US$4,00 sampled at the brewpub/taproom on 13-March-2017 for the first time ever being in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Draft. A- Weak, plastic, cocoa, mole sauce. A- Black color, black liquid, light brown head. T- Weak, cocoa, rubber, cinnamon, mild peppers. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Boiler typically does very flavorful beers, especially stouts. With all the mole stouts out there now I had high hopes. This one really lacked on the flavor and was nuanced a bit too much. Really needed more of everything. Not bad, but lacking.

Draft. A- Coffee, mild mocha. A- Black color, black liquid, light brown head. T- Black coffee, dry, roasty, mild bitterness. P- Medium body, slightly thin texture, average carbonation, dry finish. O- Quite tasty but very focused on the coffee. Coffee is about all that comes through. Could use more of a sweet chocolate but still good.

Draft. A- Playdough, bready, mild cinnamon. A- Dark mahogany color, clear liquid, tan head. T- Playdough, cinnamon, nutmeg, mild wood. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, rubbery finish. O- My third beer aged on Palo Santo and apparently the first with incense chips thrown in instead of barrel aged in the wood. And yest that seems to make a difference. Tasted like playdough rolled in nutmeg. Not a fan.

Draft. A- Mild rhubarb, weak, soapy dishwater, plastic. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Vegetal, soapy, mild spice, raw rhubarb. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly unbalanced finish. O- Bleh. The name is better than the beer. Certainly not artificial but not the best. A rhubarb focused beer just doesn’t work that well.

Draft. A- Ginger. A- Dark pink color, hazy liquid, pink head. T- Ginger, salty, tart, club soda. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, tart finish. O- Okay, but very heavy on the ginger. It literally overtakes the entire base beer. Lessen the ginger and it would be very tasty and refreshing.

Crowler. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium white head. A nice grassy sweet toast and lemon nose. Clean, smooth lemons, a bit of bubblegum and pepper, light sweet banana. Quite drinkable and clean.

Crowler. Pours a cloudy orange color with a tiny white head. The aroma is big juicy tropical fruit. Big tropical fruit, peppery, peppercorn, pineapples. Odd. So peppery. Not bad.

Crowler. Pours one of the haziest beers I’ve seen. Cloudy orange hue with a small white head. A big juicy tropical nose. Rich, spicy, almost peppery, huge tropical juicy hops. Light bitterness, fleshy mango and pepper. Works well. I’d chug this at a Nebraska home game.
