Can. A finger-thick off-white head leaves some lacing over an unclear golden colored body. The aroma has some fruityness, with bready pale malts, DMS and some piney hints. It's medium bodied and semi-sweet on the palate, softly carbonated and with a decent bitterness. Pale malts, bread, hints of pine cones and grass in the flavor. Medium length finish with a touch of yeasty sulfur. Rather uninteresting and not very good this one. 221102

330 ml bottle, batch #1468, as Lindesnes LB Snekkepils (Marna is no longer mentioned on the label), from Gulating ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy deep golden to orange colour, very small white head. Aroma of old jam, malts and wort, a hint of chocolate(!). The flavour is malty and yeasty with a moderate citric fruitiness, quite bitter aftertaste.

On tap at Sørlandet Matfestival. It’s an almost clear, golden colored beer with a dense finger-thick white head leaving lacing. The aroma is bready and doughy, quite fruity, with some grass and pine cones. It’s medium bodied and nicely carbonated, with some sweetness and a rather low bitterness. The flavor has grassy, piney hops and generic fruityness up front, with doughy, bready malts in the back. Medium length finish. A quite dull one, too bready and sweet I think, but decent anyway. 220708

330 ml bottle, batch L84, from Vinmonopolet Sauda. ABV is 7.4%. Nearly black colour, moderate to small beige head. Aroma of malts, sourish black rye bread, a hint of liquorice. The flavour is also malty and moderately sweet, notes of chocolate, mild coffee, black bread and a hint of liquorice, moderate hops. Not bad.

Bottle. Unclear golden body under a huge, foamy off-white head. A bit weak in aroma, almost similar to a Kölsch or Pilsner where the Tettnanger hops dominates. Taste is refreshing with medium sweet pale malt, grain, bread and grassy hops, just a hint of citric fruit. Decent bitterness. Balanced body and same aftertaste ending with a fine bitter touch. Can not say to identify the salt here. Interesting take on the Lager.

0,33 boks fra fristeriets restlager, hjemme: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Appelsin/appelsinmarmelade sammen med litt krydder, men mest appelsin og deilig maltsmak. Fin bitterhet i den forfriskende avslutningen som også inneholder en viss porsjon mersmak.
