330ml can, #413, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsdalen. Almost clear copper coloured body, spotty lacing from a steady, beige head. Earthy malts on the nose, lightly roasted. Fine blended taste of dark dough, mild caramel, and a dark fruity bite. Ripe fruit and slightly roasted malty end. Decent partner to our roasted chicken food. (Tromsø 16.01.2022).

Fra bunnen av min hemmelige og nå tomme julekalender, denne 0,33 boksen fra julenissens verksted i Lars Hertervigs gate, hjemme etter endt brygging (Kveik 4) på 2. nyttårsdag: lett uklar kastanjebrun med ok skum. Deilig maltsmak med passelig mørkt preg sammen med hveten. Nøtter, sjokoladekjeks og ristet brød. Mild bitterhet som annonsert, kort ettersmak som forventet.

Can. It's a clear golden colored beer with an off-white head. Bready, grainy aroma with caramel and a touch of dusty cellar. Generic fruityness. It's medium bodied and softly carbonated, dry, with a quite fruity flavor. Pale malts, bread, caramel notes, grass and pine cone hints. Medium length finish. Rather useless this one. Bottle. It's a still, headless dark brown beer, looking clear. Quite oxidized malty aroma with dark dried fruits, coffee, dark chocolate and licorice notes. Some alcohol and spiced hints too. It's full-bodied and flat on the palate, lightly warming, with malty flavors. Dark dried fruits, dark bread crust, some licorice and dark chocolate, a touch of coffee and some malty sourness. Long finish with some soy sauce hints. Sort of decent, but it sure needs some carbonation. 211231

Bottle. As Sørlandsparken Jul. A mostly clear light brown colored beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is malty and bready, with chocolate, grains, some toffee and prunes. It's medium to full-bodied, nicely carbonated and not too sweet, but there's a touch of garbage-like sourness in the back that ruins the drinking experience. Toffee, dark dried fruits, bread crust hints, some chocolate and a very light spicyness. Lasting finish with the chocolate more pronounced. Couldn't finish this one, even though it's mostly an acceptable beer. 211231

Bottle. Its an almost clear one, golden in color, with a small white head. The aroma is rather yeasty and chalky, with generic fruityness and some bready pale malts. It's medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, softly carbonated, and with a decent bitterness. Yeast, chalk, pine cones, generic fruityness, white bread and some grains in the flavor. Some banana hints in the very end. Quite awful this one, drainpour. 211231
