330ml can from Gulating Advent Calendar #13. Pours a very large, rocky, beige head fading over a deep ruby-black body, clingy lacing. Moderate smell of grainy brown malts, hints of cocoa powder. Taste alright with nutty grain and chocolate hints. Roasted earthy ending, hints of yeast esters. Soft on the swallow. Accepted.

330ml bottle, L 360, from Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. Shared with Finn. Pours a rocky off-white head to a hazy brownish body, clingy lacing. Earthy malts on the nose, hints of caramel. Moderate flavours of doughy, mid-sweet malts, lightly spiced. Earthy malts to the ending, semi-sweet. Just okay. (Tromsø 05.12.2020).

Bottle. An unclear brown beer with an orange hue, topped by a finger-thick light beige head. Curtains. The aroma is quite roasted, much more than expected from the color, with a light sourish smoke aroma, toast, caramel, some clove notes and a touch of citrus zest. It's medium bodied and soft on the palate, semi-sweet, yet dry towards the finish. Quite bitter too, citrus zesty bitter that is, leaving a sort of harsh taste. The flavor too is on the roasted side, with notes of dark bread crust, hints of prunes and cloves, along with caramel and some toast. Long finish. Not bad for a Christmas beer at this low ABV, there's sure some Christmas spirit going on here, but it presents itself in a rather untidy way, aromas and flavors don't really harmonize. 201205

Spandert av Rune. Delt med ham i WCveien. Mørkebrun. Høyt tett skum med litt farge. Litt lacing. Beskjeden nellikaroma. Smaken rosmarin. Tørr. Litt julestemning.

Can. A hazy dark brown beer with a beige head. Quite nutty aroma with roasted malts, caramel and generic dried fruits. It's medium bodied and softly carbonated, semi-dry and with a touch of bitterness. Roasted malts, hazelnut, coffee and toffee in the flavor, with some pine cones. Lasting roasted finish. Sure one of the most interesting beers from Lindesnes in a long time. Pity it's not a bit more full-bodied and perhaps a bit stronger. 201122
