Bottle 500ml. @ Carnival Tasting 2015, Denmark. [ As Lindesnes Vårøy Brown Ale Bitter ].Clear medium red brown color with a small, open and fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, nutty, brown malt, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, dark malt, nutty, sweet malt, nutty bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20150228]

Bottle. Pours hazy golden, with a finger thick creamy head receding to lacings. Aroma is roasted malts with grain, with some light whiffs of grassy hops. Full body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with bread and toffee, as well as some herbal hops. Might be better somewhat fresher, just too bad it’s not available in that condition.

Amber with a white head - Good hop aroma with fruity notes - Nice malt to support a good hop profile with fruity and citrus flavours - the fruityness from the hops goes inot the finish and lasts for some time - This was nice

Smak: Citrus, litt karamell og en noe bitter avslutning.

500ml bottle, L 126, from Vinmonopolet bestillingsutvalget. Near-clear orange coloured body. Tiny off-white head Fair lacing. Red orange and apricot nose. Mixed taste of citrus, including grapefruit and orange, together with juicy malts. Bitter and dry ending. Alcohol tingling on the tongue. Quite heavy to drink. Has got its moments of interests (Tromsø 19.04.2015).

Svart med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lett kaffe, mer humle mot grapefrukt og sydhavsfrukter. Kaffebitter, lett søtlig. Noe salt i avslutningen.

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, ash, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, licorice hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, licorice hops, ash, roasted. Bottled@fonefan. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, mild floral and catpissy notes along with some toffee. Flavour is toffee, some nectary, fruity and wooden notes to it. Balanced and a bit dry palate.

Hazy brown with a light brown head - Some roasted malt in the aroma - Malt body that has some roasted malt, caramel and some chcolate notes with some bitterness - The malt and chocolate notes goes into the finish - This was nice
