500 ml bottle. Dark amber brown body with a small beige head. Nice aroma of light roasted malt, caramel and dark chocolate. Flavor is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and moderate bitterness that follows through the aftertaste. A bit thin body, otherwise quite nice.

500 ml bottle. A nice, clear amber body with a fine beige head. Aroma is malty with spices like cloves, anises and maybe some cinnamon? Not so easy to detect the type of spices, but it gives a nice impression of Christmas without being to overwhelming, I think that’s important with a beer at this low alcohol level. Flavor is mild caramel malt, moderate bitterness and the same spicy feeling that comes from the aroma. Medium to thin body and the aftertaste gives some kind of dry/powder feeling from the spices. A decent Christmas beer that are allowed to sell in Norwegian groceries.

500 ml bottle. Almost clear amber body with a big and firm off-white head. Aroma is mild malty with light fruit and hint of grass. Flavor is sweet malt with a hint of caramel, light fruity and moderate bitterness. Medium body, quite short aftertaste and a soft mouth feeling. There is also a little hint of some cooked flavor that’s unattractive. Not enough to spoilt the beer, but might indicate a high fermentation temperature. This should easily be corrected I thing, but otherwise this beer seems to be a bit vague in flavor and thin in body. There is room for improvement here.

500 ml bottle. Almost clear golden body with a nice, creamy white head. Aroma is grassy hops and mild grain/malt. Flavor is mild and clean malt, slightly fruity and pleasant bitterness for the style. Medium body. A nice pilsner, feels soft and clean, lively carbonation.

Bottle, thx to Beer2000. It pours a clear, reddish brown body under a dense, diminishing, beige head. There’s a faint acidic note in the aroma, with a solid dose of cloves and some licorice. Anise instead maybe, hard to tell. The flavor is semi-sweet with some caramel and a lightly spiced touch, cloves mostly. Smooth on the palate, but a bit thin. Roasted, spiced finish. Well, not my first choice of Christmas beer, but an honest and decent beer anyway. Brave to go for a spiced one in this part of Norway. 120116
