Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 25C, adapted). Botte 33 cl - Batch D215. AROMA: aroma dominated by what seems to be wild yeast / bacteria contamination with leathery and some barnyard notes. some faint malty aroma on the background. APPEARANCE: ambar color with a lot of material in suspension. large ivory head with average retention and some lacing. excessive carbonation. TASTE: initial wild yeast / bacteria notes (barnyard) but less intense than the aroma. overall sweet bland flavour without particular characteristics. solventy alcohol flavour. medium-low bitterness with an almost dry finish. PALATE: light body with excessive carbonation. some solventy alcohol character. dry and almost astringent finish. OVERALL: a beer labeled as "strong ale" and "pale ale", with 9.5% ABV (recipe changed?) with obvious contamination.

At a tasting, thanks teddybeer, medium stable creamy head, murky and a little deep yellow colour, yasty aroma with some seasame and spiciness. candy, nutty, almondy aroma, with some fruity sourness in the back, suprisingly light bodied for such an alcohol level. Fair and drinkable but not too great.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks tomer. Murky yellow with a white head. Aroma of yeast, fruits, a bit citric, and light spiciness. Sweetish flavor, yeasty and fruity, with a slightly spicy finish with an alcoholic note. Medium-bodied.

Amber color with an off-white head, creamy, with good lasting and nice lacing. Aroma is malty with light hints of honey and citrus. In the flavor we can find strong notes of honey, plumbake, low carbonation and notes of bitterness good compensated with the honey. Dense on palate with notes of honey and licorice in the aftertaste.

Golden with a white head, creamy and good lasting. Aroma is fruity, notes of oraange, citrus and sweet. Flavor is sweet very good compensated with the alcohol percentage, notes of marzipam, light citrus and plumbcake. The final is slightly alcoholic with a good presence of sweet notes.
