33 cl bottle bought at the highly acclaimed Medieval Fair, Alcalá de Henares, Spain. A dark orange pour with no head at all. Aroma is intense cider, boy oh boy. Cider galore! You know: green apples, yeast, chalk, what not. Wow! Fizzy, crisp, medium-bodied, long-lasting. Is this the best mead I've had?

33 cl bottle bought at Alcalá de Henares's Medieval Fair. Btw, it should be Sus, not Porcus. But anyway. A clear copper pour with no head at all. Aroma is honey, leather, butt-crack (yeah.) Almost no fizz, and that I like. Dry, crisp, somewhat cloying. If this is hopped, I was expecting some bitterness, and there's very little. But it's a long-lingering sip, and that I like. They should enhance it, but it ain't bad.

On tap at Alcalá de Henares' Medieval Fair. A pink-reddish bubbly pour with no head at all. Aroma is, indeed, red berries and a hint of cider, not much more. Very slightly sweetish and quite tart onset, medium-bodied, leading to a crisp yet not very bitter, low-lingering finish.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (M3B: hops). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 21005 (BBF 12/2022). AROMA: medium honey aroma, followed by medium dried grass, medium-low lacquer, slight floral. APPEARANCE: deep yellow color and clear. low white head with low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial low honey with hints of floral notes, medium lacquer. finish with a balance towards high bitterness, slightly sweet with a strong yeasty presence. MOUTHFEEL: medium-high astringency. medium body. very low carbonation. warmth sensation. OVERALL: a mead with added hops with signs of oxidation and execution problems.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style M3A). Bottle 33 cl - (Batch 25006 - BBF 10/22). AROMA: medium hibiscus vegetal-like aroma, overwhelming everything else (faint strawberry). low sweet background. APPEARANCE: pink body color and clear. medium-large white-pink head with average retention. TASTE: initial high sweetness with very low notes of strawberry and slight raspberry. finishes very sweet with hints of herbs and raspberry. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. no astringency. OVERALL: a very sweet mead with a plethora of herbs and fruits where only 1 or 2 remain in the product.

Transparent blood red colour with no head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of sweet and sour berry fruits. Backed up by subtle honey sweetness.

Looks like cloudy bitter lemon with no head. A sweet taste but not sticky or heavy. Light, clean finish. Just a little honey sweetness remains on the lips.

Clear blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have very light honey sweetness and a little more grassy, floral bitter hop. Surprisingly easy to drink.
