Flaske fra Meny Hønefoss, delt med Einar: klar mahognyfarge og beige skum som varer. God aroma av karamell/knekk og mild humle. Smaken er (karamell)maltdominert og en forsiktig bitterhet for nødvendig balanse. Noe bæraktig innslag mot slutten. Litt metallisk ettersmak, men allikevel god. En behagelig og fint karbonert øl, etter to timer med vedkløyving og stabling. Iflg etiketten er det brukt "utvalgt britisk malt i kombinasjon med hele blader av humle og klassisk overgjær med 200 års stamtavle". Et øl med stamtavle! Og jeg som bare har brukt humlekonglene må nok gå over til å bruke hele blader...
