Tasted under the name "Brauhaus 1516 Blond Unfiltriert ", posing off as homebrewed @ an utterly fake brewpub at the Augsburg Hauptbahnhof Draught Good, thick off-white head over fuzzy orange beer. Very fruity, yeasty nose. Dry yeast taste, dry malts & grains, with just a touch of orange. Near fizzy MF, overcarbonated, bit slick. I don’t like its presentation in this utterly fake way. the beer’s OK, BTW.

Bottled as Mecatzer Classic Bavarian Golden Lager: Faint hay aroma. Golden pour with floaties and thin head. Doughy lemon grass flavor. Rose hip finish, but I could be mistaken. Decent recipe, flawed production. Pretty refreshing anyway. Why is there Weiss in the name? It isn’t on the label and I tasted no wheat malt. Unfiltered yeast yes, but no wheat. Run of the mill helles IMO, and not even a good one..
