(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a big foamy white head, slowly lacing. Yeasty, slightly sweet and moderately wheaty nose with light notes of banana and a dash of spicy herbal hops. Light-sweet flavour with a minimal level of acidity, light bodied with a fizzy, almost sharp carbonation. Yeasty and malty taste with a moderate wheat-character and light notes of banana; slightly sweet and light-bitter finish with minimal hoppy notes and traces of metal.

Canned. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is pretty much nothing, only some weak paper and skunky hops found. Flavour is paper, grass, hay and something else, which is really dry, but I can’t exactly tell what. Also the palate is very dry.

Canned(500ml). –like I said before, these two Coop beers (Helvetia and Tell), are similar by taste, alcohol content, maybe the brewer, but mostly by being equally BAD. So, what to said? Nothing; never again…

Canned(500ml). -I’ve found this two Coop beers (Helvetia and Tell) in Coop supermarket near Swiss-France border. They are similar by taste, alcohol content, maybe the brewer, but mostly by being equally BAD. Golden coloured, big white head, malty and mild hoppy aroma with a touch of wet carton (perfect comparation Bov).

0.5l can shared with ozujsko (thanks!) Oooh... lucky me, a Swiss supermarket beer... This stank like hell of... old apple juice, slightly acidic nose. Golden colour, huge, thick, firm steadfast white head. Gotta love chemicals in action..... Still, it looked quite good. The taste is primarily alcohol (never a good thing in a 4.8% beer), malty (in a... erm... negative nutty/nougaty way), and apples again. Guess I can be glad Coop doesn’t import this here...

Bottled. Slightly hazy golden, with nice carbonation and some floaties. Small white head. Aroma is mostly grainy. Not much flavor at all. Some lightly sweet maltiness and a somewhat unpleasant element. Dusty/sandy mouthfeel. Some malts and bitterness in the finish. (060104)
