Description

Bottle, 2.5%. The aroma is quite citric from the soft drink, slightly perfumy. Hazy grey/yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is quite sweet, lemon acid, candy-like with some spice that may or may not resemble cactus. Tastes OK, but not much of beer. The mouthfeel is beer-like, but that is all.

(33cl bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and dense foamy white head. Sourish wheaty, also slightly papery and perfumed aroma. Slightly sweet and minimal sourish flavour, slim bodied with a smooth carbonation. Calm wheaty and one-dimensional taste with a slightly clovy, sourish and watery finish. Very bland (19.IV.09).

(33cl bottle) Cloudy orange colour with a thick eggshell-coloured foamy head. Sweet and slightly yeasty and malty nose with distinctive fruity notes of peach and prickly pear. Sweet and sourish, slightly tart flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Fruit-accented, slightly wheaty taste, surprisingly not as artificial as expected. Sweet, minimal sourish and wheaty finish with a fruity and a bit yeasty bitter aftertaste. Drinkable (13.IV.09).

bottle, pours hazy orange with pink hues. Grapefruit aroma with light wheat showing it’s face. More grapefruit than weizen in nature with lots of sweet and sour in the finish.

Pours opaque deep gold with copper core and thin white head. The aroma is sweet malts, a pulse of grain then moving into bubble and banana. Solid aroma with smooth blended notes. The taste is also smooth but brings in a refreshing sensation. I get a pulse of crisp floral hops moving into malt graininess. By midway bubble gum and modest notes of banana come to the surface. Yum. Well executed hefe.
