Description

500ml can. Pours a cloudy red with an off-white head. Aroma of watermelon with strong minty overtones. Taste starts off with a lot of watermelon, the coolness of the mint is pleasant at first but the more I drank the more I found it overpowered the watermelon, sugary sweetness. Light-medium bodied, soft carbonation.
Nice, and refreshing for sure, but I'd prefer the mint to be much more subtle. As it stands this is my least favourite of their Radlers.

Hazy amber/gold pour with a decent white head. Aromas of bread, malt, lemon, a hint of banana. Taste is white bread, lemon, grapefruit, some banana as well. Not bad and not as sweet as other shandies.

Bottle from Waitrose, Wycombe. Light, dull amber with a lasting white head. Aroma and initial flavour is that unpleasant artificial sweetness that seems to be a given in industrial NA beers - it is tempered slightly by a hint of lemon in this instance though. However, as you drink more some digestive biscuit comes through, with plenty of dry wheat chaff and hay in the lasting, mildly bitter finish. Whilst the sickly NA sweetness lets it down, the dry finish means this is significantly better than most industrial NA lagers. I actually quite liked it by the end.

Draught keg at Tønne, Leicester. Pinkish orange and clear with a beige ring of head and good lacing. Light beery notes, some candied orange and maybe some melon on the nose. It tastes pretty good with orange peel, pink grapefruit juice and cherry flavours. Sweet with very little balance. Good body for the ABV with quite heavy carbonation. Refreshing on a hot day but without loads of value otherwise.

Bottle at home. Clear light golden. Sweet malts, doigh, light wort, lemon candy, honey, biscuits, peach. Over medium sweet, light bitter. Medium bodied. A bit sweet, and some wort notes coming through, but the body is nice and overall I quite like this.

Appearance - cloudy yellow to orange with a foamy white head.
Nose - lemon, lemonade, lemon peel and even an edge of grapefruit.
Taste - creamy lemon, malt backdrop.
Palate - light bodied, creamy middle and zesty finish.
Overall - I shouldn't like this.
