Bottle at Roasty's pours light gold with white head. Aroma is lightly metallic, grainy. Clean, but at the expense of being tasteless. Not as watery as it could have been but still watery.

21/5/2020. Cheers to Painy for bringing this home from his pre-lockdown Caribbean cruise stop in St Martin. Pours dark gold with a short lasting off-white head. Aroma is citrus, grain, sweet malt and straw. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Quite light body, slightly oily, carbonation is fizzy. Slightly herbal finish. Ok in mid-20 degrees of English sunshine. Possibly would have tasted better in the Caribbean.

330ml bottle found in Saint Martin, fancily enough. The most horrifying thing I've heard in awhile, from an American at a French wine bar: I'll have a Corona. Pours with good white foam and a soft coppery foggy body. The aroma is yeast and hay, funky wood and seemingly a bit of apple cider. Flavour is watery hay funk, chewy malts. Wet finish. Kind of okay, hardly exceptional, seems to be a subdued effort just to dump into this remote enclave of the French empire. Luckily the Americans have decided where they'll drink next... hopefully they leave soon.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a lacing, white head. Nose is mostly sweet and fruity - no aromatic hops. Medium body, kinda sweet, pale malts, again fruity, with a subtle late bitterness. 82 IBUs - really? 030719
