Bottle picked up from Appel Getränke, Moosburg, and consumed at home Saturday 12th June 2021. Listening to Jon Hopkins - Immunity We have Xenofon, Anastasia, Vassos and Kostas around today, cooking Chicken Tikka Kebabs, Fish Goujons, Chorizo and Halloumi Kebabs and Moroccan Lamb Kebabs with Tsatsiki, Turkish Flatbread, Greek and Italian Salads (*we've gone for it!) Pours pale gold with a haze and a white head. Aroma of soapy hops, a little grain and bread. In the mouth a little thin, taste of grain, cereal, grassy hops, light fruity, leaning towards sweetness, bitterness is there but could be better. Ok.

Berliner Kindl Jubiläums Pilsener alkoholfrei, Flasche von Getränke Hoffmann, Berlin. - Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase der strenge Geruch von Hopfenextrakt, unangenehm dünnes helles Malz, zart schwefelig. - Antrunk trocken und dünn plastikartig hellmalzig mit schaler, blaß krautiger Herbe. Gut rezent, wäßrig. Im Abgang neutrale Bittere, leicht metallisch. - Aromatisch anspruchslos, wirklich nur als Durstlöscher an bierfreien Tagen zu gebrauchen. (10.5.2021.)

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, huge head. Starts intense malty, spicy, herbal. Some metallical hints. Mild bitter background. Okay.

Backlog October 2009. Grey golden body under a big, creamy white head. Both aroma and taste are simply just like slightly sour blackcurrant candy drops, nothing else. Thin bodied and the same aftertaste. Totally uninteresting.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity hops, sweet malt, malty, dusty malt, light grass, grain notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20121221]

Can on Christmas Day 2020, from Advent Calendar. Pours clear gold with shallow white foam and full lacing. Grassy, herby aroma. Strong malts and leafy hops in-mouth, and a grassy hop finish. A full, slightly viscous texture and plenty of body.

330ml can. Pours gold, small white head, no retention. Aroma is grain, citrus and grass. Taste is grassy, lemon, grain, earth, moderate bitterness. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. It lacks the clean crispness of a good Pils.
