330ml bottle at home. Deep dark brown body with a medium off-white head. Smell of lightly roasted grain and malt. Initial dark caramel flavour followed by roasted cereal notes. Underlying malty sweetness. Soft carbonation and medium bodied. A rather sweet black beer, but drinkable (thanks to Finn H. for bringing the bottle back from Alko in Finland) (21.04.2007).

(bottle) clear, deep golden to amber colour with a foamy white medium head. Shy aroma, slightly sweet and dusty, malty. Moderately sweet flavoured, rather light bodied according to an ABV of 6.0%., ok carbonation. Weak malty body, empty mouthfeel; slim and weak malty, slightly alcoholic finish. A bad brew, only for those who think they need it. Avoid it !

Bottle (bought in Karl-Marx-Stadt/DDR): Deep golden coloured, small foamy layer, lively carbonation; mainly metallic nose with illusions of hops; light bitter-sweet flavour, very light bodied (6.0 ABV !), light sweetish-bitter finish. A miracle brew: 6.0% and watery and tasteless..........

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a pretty, clear mahogany with a warm, reddish glow and an off-white head. Some roasted malt in the aroma. Medium body with lightly roasted malt., dry with a light bitterness. An easy drink if not exactly thrilling. 151206
