Draft at festival vatgrrijpt. Color: Almost black, light brown head. Taste: Chocolate, some spicy rye. Subtle fruity Calvados. Creamy body. Some bitterness at the finish. Moderate sweet and over moderate bitterness. Dry finish. Nice barrel ageing.

Draft at festival vatgerijpt. Color: Hazy amber, off-white head. Aroma: Tart, herbal. Taste: Over moderate tart, herbal, some caramel malt, some vanilla. Nice complexity. Medium body, below average carbonation.

Tap @ Taplokaal Gist, Utrecht. Almost black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, tobacco and dried fruit. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. Soft. I don’t really pick up any Calvados, but it is rounder than the regular Dubbel, which I had in the same session. 160425
