Growler. Cloudy pink amber with a pink tinged white head that lasts OK. Aroma of raspberries, vaguely funky wheat, almonds. Light bodied, somewhat kefir-like texture. Lots of fine but not hugely exciting berries with a wheaty tanginess and a mild lacto sourness, some herbal notes. Enough sourness to get the impression of ripe berries without much sweetness. Very refreshing.

Pours gold with a quickly fading head.Relatively subtle aromas. Some white wine and hints of citrus.Sour flavours combine with insanely high carbonation definitely makes this beer live up to its name. Some orange peel notes and more hints of white wine.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy white head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is big Belgian yeast, light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a mineral yeast, fruity citrus bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Exactly as it says on the label really!

Both on tap and in bottle. The best beer from Australia in 2014 for sure. Pours black as night. Luscious enveloping mouthfeel. Great vanilla, burnt caramel flavours, with peaty endnotes. Will age brilliantly I hope.

Quite an earthy aroma of dirt and talcum powder together with some peach and a hint of citrus. It’s as pale as they come. The taste is of sweet, slightly unpleasant malt, partly masked by fairly dry, bitter hops.

From a 330ml bottle on 20/11/2014. Pours a cloudy light golden with a medium white head. The aroma feature spicy notes with quite a bit of Belgian yeast. Flavour wise, it a bit of a cross between a saison and a Belgian blonde, with some big, dry, herbal hops at the back. Has a fullish body and lively carbonation. Another good’n from Boatrocker.
