Crowler from BrewDog Union Square. It pours cloudy orangey - gold with minimal head. The aroma is fresh, fruity, juicy, tropical fruit cocktail, guava, mango, peach, apricot, tangy, juicy, banana split and wine gums. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, juicy, tangy tropical fruits, guava, touch of green banana, peachy, mango, floral, light herbal vibes, wheat cracker and light spice with a smooth, fruity finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Actually works pretty well. Decent.

Cask handpull at the PoW, Aberdeen. It pours crystal clear pale golden with a thick, fluffy and lasting white cap. The aroma is fresh, clean, lemony citrus vibes, touch of grapefruit, pithy, fresh floral accents and airy light malt. The taste is crisp, dry, clean, punchy bitterness which lingers throughout, bright, floral, peppery spice, waxy citrus peel, lemon and grapefruit with a drying finish. Light+ body and moderate, fluffy cask carbonation. Superb condition. Great summer quencher.

Cask at the Guildford Arms. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of creamy malt and citrus. Taste is bitter, green, maybe a little plasticky. There's something I don't like about this one, which is a shame as it's the first Alechemy cask I've seen in a while.

Third at Holyrood 9A. Golden pour with a light haze, small creamy head. Aroma isn't much, very faint crackers. Taste is grainy and fruity with an odd bitterness that doesn't seem to add up. Very subdued flavors.

Bottle from Waitrose - still can't get used to Supermarkets stocking impys! This is mahogany-black with a thin but lasting tan head and a middling amount of fizz. Ooh... it's fruity! Yep, lots of homemade strawberry jam. Smoke. Caramel. Sherry. Leather. Black coffee. Vanilla. Victoria sandwich cake. There's a lot going on here. Pretty sweet with a dry finish. It's a very interesting beer and I loved it at first, but the more I drank the more I felt it was just a bit too jammy, and didn't quite gel as a whole. Maybe it suffered by comparison with the Redchurch brew I'd had just before. It's still very, very good, just not as good as I thought from the first taste.

Light sweet flavour with notes of bitter husky grains, light tang. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bitter and citric in the finish. So so.
