Description
Three Russians, two Czechs and one Norwegian walk into a bar…

and start writing the story of a microbrewery. In the year 2018, five men from the brewing world decided to combine their love of beer and years of experience and thus created an international brand - Axiom Brewery. Three owners from Russia, two from the Czech Republic. And now guess where did they build the brewery. Of course, at Haná in Prostějov (CZ).

And who is the sixth? He is a rebel. He is a superstar among brewers. He is a legend of craft beer. And he probably got bored in his vineyards in Greece because he joined us. Ladies and gentlemen, Norwegian brewmaster Kjetil Jikiun, founder of the first craft mini-brewery Nøgne Ø in Norway, which had grown so much that he left it and founded another mini-brewery called Solo in Crete, and now he brews beer in Prostějov.

We brewed our first batch at Axiom Brewery in mid-2019, and during our very first six months we immediately climbed to the top of the Ratebeer.com competition for the best new mini-brewery in the Czech Republic. And we had not descend from there even after 2020 and thus defended our ambitions.

We adore a wide range of beer styles, all kinds of flavors and fascinating aromas. We experiment and innovate with passion, with one goal in mind. To treat you with traditional and unusual taste experiences. So we brew, test, taste and taste and taste… and now we have already brewed dozens of different beer styles, including the mindblowing Session Mead style, which we brewed in the Czech Republic first and the public reaction was heartwarming.

Draught at BeerGeek Bar. Slightly cloudy, gold colored. AROMA- pear, spicy, alcohol, honey, vanilla. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, slighty bitter, warming, alcohol, pear, apple, spicy. Medium to fuller bodied. Good. Aged one year in the wood would be very good.

Tap at BeerGeek. Dark red, murky. Tart raspberry aroma, lean, light raspberry taste, lacking more juiciness and slightly more body to really be great. Just wasn't juicy enough in my opinion.

Tap at Beergeek. Murky yellow body, white head. Tropical aroma, the passionfruit is obvious. Lean, light taste, passionfruit and tartness. Simplistic, but fairly tasty, though too lean and light.

Can at Beergeek. Blackish body, off white head. Toasty aroma, dark malts, cocoa. Dry roasty aroma, dark malts, some sharp roastiness, notes of raisins, fairly chalky. Quite okay!

Can at Beergeek. Pitch black body, off white head. Creamy aroma, berries, dark malts, alcohol, somehow fresh. Taste... coffee, cocoa, smooth, silky, simple. The alcohol is pretty nicely hidden, which is a plus. Overall, currently this one lacks the wow effect.

Can. Thanks A&S! Golden body, clear, white head. Caramel, just a weak touch of butter, and herbal, wormwood-like hoppiness in the aroma. Oxidation apparent. Creamy taste, tropical, medium bitterness, ending dry, but still somewhat gone. Sadly, shows that it isn't fresh.

Tap at BeerGeek. Murky yellow body, white head. Citrusy and tropical hoppy aroma, mild brown sugar, quite nice! Hop-driven taste, stone fruit going towards citrus fruits, smooth initially, but the mouthfeel quickly gets dry and loses the juiciness. Apparently a trade off for the beer to look more murky... which is sad, because it pushes a very, very good NEIPA to less impressive levels. Still, a nice beer with potential!
