Bottle from Bison Beer, Brighton. It pours murky dark orange - brown with a tiny white head. The nose is bitter - sweet, earthy, sweet orange, papaya, watermelon, lime, damp wood and some peppery spice. The taste is bitter, earthy, pine, resin, wet leaf, stewed orange and tangerine peel with a dry, earthy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. I like aspects of this beer, but it’s Not quite there yet. I bit like home brew (but not bad homebrew).

Can from Bison Beers, Brighton. Consumed on the beach. Probably pours clear golden - amber and decent white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, light caramel, grapefruit, lemon curd and and wet grass. The crisp, bitter, piney, grapefruit, lemongrass, lemon parfait, dankness, wet grass and light resin with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent hoppy stuff. Not bad at all.

Bottle that Loz picked up for me from the Bison Beer Shop, Brighton, when down there with her mum and sister a fortnight ago. Consumed at home Sunday, 26th April 2015 Murky orange/light amber with lacy head, a bit of key lime pie and malt on the nose. Impressively full flavoured and punches above its weight for a 5% beer. A little stinging, buzzy, pithy citrus rasps the tongue, initially sweet but soon sweetness shows. Just a touch of finesse lacking at times, but a few rough edges adds character. It’s really nice.
