More of the same from the A-B family. Why do they even put different labels on them?

Dark mahogany in colour. Sweetish nose, marginally malty. dryish finish with some bitterness. That could be a good start of a review, but unfortunately it ends there, and that is because there is nothing more to say about this beer. (That is the long way to say one-dimensional...)

I had not had this one for a few years. I was surprised that it actually tasted OK despite being an American Std and in a green bottle. Not much in the way of appearance or flavor but it went down easy and was refreshing.

Hey is this their copy of Miller Genuine Draft? Clean and passable when slugged out of a very cold bottle. Aroma off as usual. Still too light with a bare minimum of actual beer flavor. I kinda see this as A-B attempt at replicating and competing with Miller Genuine Draft, because, aside from the similarity in the name, this beer really tasted alot like MGD (even the initials are the same). Actually, this was even a little better, and is possibly my favorite A-B product, but thats not saying much.

Maybe A-B's best product? (outside of their small specialty line). Still - only a shade better than Bud and still rather thin with a weak flavor. If not consumed ice cold, odd bitter off flavors will come and get you.

Unbelievably white-bread. It is difficult to even find anything to comment on. I am not an expert on Bocks but hopefully this is not the norm. Too plain for anyone but regular Michelob drinkers who feel like they are taking a risk.

A commercial American beer, quite refreshing and better than it’s reputation.
