About
Our brewery can be found on the High Street in Montferri, a small village in the region of Tarragona with a population of 150 inhabitants. Montferri is located in a beautiful area surrounded by woods, vineyards and olive and almond trees, all of which are provided with water from the river Gaià, the same river that we get water from to make our beer and give it the special taste and flavour it has. The building has a brewing area, warehouses, an office and a small reception area where we hold meetings with friends and visitors. The brewing vat has a capacity of 400 litres plus three fermentation tanks of 1000 litres each where we make 300hl of beer a year. We take great care of each litre of this small production in order to be able offer a wide selection of beers.

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki. (shared with Mankke & co, thanks!). Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small head. Aroma is sweet malts, spelt/wheat, some yeasty notes as well as mild dough and herbs. Flavour is dusty and earthy with also the same elements as in the aroma. Also has some nice grassy bitterness to it. Smooth palate and not too much carbonation. Could do with some more carbonation to be a bit more refreshing. Fruity, mildly spicy and yeasty in the aftertaste.

Bottle, 75cl, shared by madmitch76. It pours a hazy, orange-yellow body under a minimal-sized white head. Citrusy nose with some chalk. Notes of resin and a subdued maltyness too. Chalky, citrusy, resiny flavor with some bitterness and sweetness. Medium to thin mouthfeel. Nice citrusy, resiny, bitter finish. Slightly off, but still quenching. (090514)
