Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy, mild rubbery and some herbal tones to it. Flavour is floral, some fruity, mild nectary tones with some grainy and earthy tones.

A clear golden yellow beer with a white lacing. Aroma of dry grainy malt, cereals, straw. Taste of dry grainy malt, cereals, dull hops.

23/5/2025. Bottle from Poland. Pours clear golden amber with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is grainy, cardboard, malts, straw, slight peppery edge. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Average carbonation. Okay.

450ml can. Pours clear gold with a tall white head. Aroma is malt, boiled sweets, a faint booziness. Taste is medium sweet, malt, fruit. Light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Unlike the ordinary Zhiguli, this is a one-time affair for me.

Old rating from 21-07-15 - 500ml from the tap in hotel bar, poured clean pale body with low foam. Aromas of malt and hops. Tastes of hops and grains. Feels low carbonation. Overall below average, although I did manage a second pint with dinner
