Drinkable if not especially vibrant. Some faded pine needles, lemon peel, a little chalky hop, generic pale malt. So so overall.

Can from Tesco, Reading. Hazy gold with a lasting white head; as with many supermarket craft cans it's a little too fizzy for my taste. Lovely flavour though; a touch of pine at first, then lime and mango come through, with a touch of lemon and fresh white bread. There's some dankness in the finish, but it's not as sticky as some DIPAs. It's actually really well balanced and dangerously drinkable. Yeah, I like this one.

Decent overall. Some pleasant citrus notes, a nip of booze, pillowy texture but a little raw hop, faint chalk, pale wood, mellow bitter lemon rind, a scattering of oats. It of boozy kick in the finish. Drinks alright.

You know, it’s not bad. Rather accessible NEIPA. Pleasant juicy citrus, no chalk or oats, some white grape, melon, soft rindy bitterness, pale bread. Massaging carb. A little tropical fruit in the finish, more citrus. Easygoing and quaffable.

330ml can from Beer52. Hazy dark gold/light amber with well lasting white foam. Aroma of soft mango and melon fruits with some zestiness, and bready malt. Taste has a light tart soft fruit, some zest, malt, spice. Medium bodied, fine zing to the carbonation. Good session IPA with some complexity to it which is unexpected from a Beer52 offering.

On this drinking day in history in 1897 the 'flailing arm' to flag down transport became the norm as the first UK bus service began! There's nothing failing about this smoothish tropical fruit brew, subdued by its strength to an extent, but still dominant enough to disguise the strength of the beer. Lovely texture and citrus taste, with lots of aroma too. Hazy golden with a glow.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 14/09/2025.
Hazed orange topped with a lasting white head.
Nose is citric sherbets, grass, grapefruit, bitter orange, guava.
Taste comprises grapefruit, orange peel, melon, mandarin, mixed tropicana.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying spliced with juicy hop bitterness.
Okay DIPA if perhaps struggling to pull out of 3rd gear.
