Description

Golden colour with light haze. Flavour has a lot of clove which is not to my taste. Qualitatively decent though.

Opaque hazy dark orange colour. Aroma and flavour have plenty of malt body and light floral hop notes. Really dry finish. Very much like an English bitter.

Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of yeast ester, orange zest, coriander and malt. Taste has herbal yeast ester, subdued sweet oak, orange candy, coriander, malt and subtle caramel. Oak is too faint unfortunately, this is just a tripel.

Clear golden colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have sweet honeyed grains. The subtle woody dryness works really well with a sweet Tripel.

Draught @ De Beyerd. Clear orange color, full sized white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetness, some fruitiness that lightly reminds me of peach, probably due to the yeast used. Medium body, a bit sticky texture, decent carbonation. Ok.

Bottle @ home shared with Joes. Dark amber color, towards brown, medium sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, some brown malts, a bit dusty, a bit "unpolished" and rough. Meh.
