Huge yellow head, fast receding with some lace over foxy-brown beer with a slight mossy sheen. Greenery and arachide (fatty acids), even manure, as well as sweet maltsyrup. Neutral taste mainly, with a faint sweet, and even fainter bitter component. Dry, woodpulp and cardboard flavour, and again quite some coloured malts. Well-bodied, very slick, near pappy MF. The above might sound harsher than intended. Still, I’m once more convinced that the products of "Sjefke" ought to be stored and forgotten for several years, before they can be enjoyed fully upon rediscovery.

Bottle, 7%. Mildly citric fruit aroma. The appearance is not so appealing. Orange colour with lots of floating bits in it. The flavour also has a fruitiness, tastes OK, slightly spicy. There is some alcohol in the flavour, too, which balances the sweet fruit well.

750 ml bottle. Massive gusher, lost more than half of its contents. Cloudy brown color. Mango and yeast in the aroma. Full bodied. Yeasty milky flavor with anis and mango. Could be much better.

330ml Bottle - Dark red in colour with a pinkish/white head. Fruity and slightly tart aroma with blueberries being detected. Sweet, fruity and slightly tart taste with blueberries being very noticeable. The sweetness lingers in the finish, but it’s not particularly strong. Not bad at all.
