Can. A brown beer with a small beige head. Roasted malts, vanilla and lots of toffee in the aroma. It's full to medium bodied, smooth and very softly carbonated, with a toffee driven flavor. Dark chocolate and vanilla too. Long sweet finish. Too one-dimensional this one. 201231

330ml can purchased ar Vinmonopolet Langnes. A two-finger thick, tan-coloured head over a pitch black body. Spotty lacing. Mid-sweet pastry nose, hints of chocolate and earth, promising. Pretty nice vanilla lactose in the background of a dominated grainy chocolate taste character. Rounded ending, slightly roasted, and tolerably sweet. Fine depth. Pleasant. (Tromsø 12.12.2020).
