Bottle from Beerdome. Sweet and spicy with liquorice root, spicy yeast, dried fruits, candy sugar, raisins, dates, hint of dark/red fruit. Fairly sweet with a light to mild bitter finish, touch of alcohol. Decent body.

Bottle from Beerdome. Pretty spiced with gin, juniper, malt, yeast, coriander, fruity notes. Medium sweet flavour, light to mild bitter. Body is medium. Good, provided you appreciate gin because it's not subtle.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Toffee and caramalt with whiskey infusion, dried fruits, raisins, some spicy notes. Medium sweet and light bitter with a hint of alcohol in the finish. Medium body. Pleasant, more of a Barley Wine than regular Futurum BW.

Nose is yeast esters, herb, stewed fruits, grains.
Taste comprises sultanas, caramel, sugars, herb, hedgerow, kiss of alcohol.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close and a balanced kiss of booze.
Not bad ... balanced well enough and not overly sweet.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Hazy dark brown coloured brew with an dry bitter taste with some sweetness and a little burn of alcohol. Hints of dark chocolate, caramel and dried fruits.
