473mL can, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt, a touch of dry cocoa, and some earthiness. Flavour has more roast than most Baltic porters, with bitter cocoa powder, and some earthy coffee grounds. Nice roasty depth, finishing bitter with that coffee and cocoa character, as well as a touch of dark fruits. Very good.

473mL can, pours a cloudy dark reddish brown with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out bready caramel, a little oak, and a touch of brown sugar. Flavour is quite oaky, but also with a fairly metallic astringency, a bready malt base and a touch of toasted caramel. Really low-quality barrels must’ve been used here—quite a harsh, borderline unpleasant barrel character. Doesn’t work for me.

473 ml can. Pours a deep mahogany color with full head. Aromas of oak, soft bourbon, dry caramel, raisins and toasted malts. Flavors follow same with emphasis on oak. Dry. Needs some malty sweetness to balance the barrel.

473mL can. Pours a slightly hazy amber-brown with a beige head. Raisins, biscuit malts, and bourbon on the nose. Flavour has lots of dry caramel malts, raisins and other dried fruit, and a slightly perfumey bourbon barrel character. The base is okay, though maybe a bit light on the malts; the barrel treatment is pretty rough. It's not amazing, but I appreciate they're taking the effort to barrel age it.

473 ml can. Pours a very dull amber with moderate head. Aromas of soft pine, candied citrus and bready malts. Flavors follow same with malts up front and some bitterness following. OK, but nothing to write home about.

Amber, small white head. Musty nose. Lighlty fruity big long bitter finish, very one dimensional

Chestnut colour, thin head. Lots of coffee, as expected. Mild base. Decent coffee, not really the right base because all I get is coffee. But it’s fine, sort of.

Golden-orange sort of colour. Thin head. Some biscuity accents, a bit buggy. Like there is a base maibock there, but there’s brett here…at least on the nose. Not bad but pretty funny.

473mL can, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out some resinous hops, gentle pine, a touch of citrus, and bready malt. Flavour is overmalted, with a syrupy caramel malt character that overtakes the resinous hops—just poorly balanced—with no characteristic hop quality that’s leftover. Too sweet/malty/unbalanced. Not good.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg Jan 05, 2026). Clear amber with small beige head. Bready caramel malt, feint herbaceous hops, light booze, decent.
