Copper, massive beige head. Nose of spicy Belgian yeast/bubblegum notes.
Similar palate but spicier and very bitter. Unbalanced, needs more malt sweetness in back

Hazy. Thick head. Pale. Ok, lots of sauvin on the nose. Good body. Medium bitterness. A little bit of acidity...haha that's on me, leaving a Loveshack beer for a month before opening. I mean, if this was going to pick up a touch of brett I should have let it sit a few months longer. Because this would be a fucking amazing brett IPA. As it is, a nice Kiwi IPA.

Bottle from the brewery. Dark brown. This has a lot of coffee on the nose, actually. On the body, it's got some roast, a somewhat flabby malt. Finishes not great, definitely could use more residual sugar to bring out the roast more.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has quite a robust roasted malt, ample hops, and some earthiness. Flavour is a little murky and lacking cohesion, with roasted malt, muddled earthiness, and some bitterness. Some nice roast here, but it’s a bit clumsy. Not bad.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Fairly dark brown with small tan head. Dry and roasty, feint cocoa powder. Could be a bit bigger, but competent enough.

500mL bottle. Pours nearly black with a tan head. Gentle roast and coffee on the nose. Flavour has dry dusty malts and coffee, some crusts. Decent body. It's fine, a perfectly servicable stout.

Bottle, from the brewery. Pale amber, slight haze. It froths up with a thick head, a bit too thick, but the effervescence is refined. The head ends up forming these crazy formations. The aroma definitely brings to mind a brett IPA, just a touch of brett, and some floral hop notes. If you're going to suffer an infection on your IPA, a mild brett infection is definitely the way to go. On the palate, it's dry, nice bitterness, again that really mellow brett accent, bitter grapefruit finish with a hint of lemon and honey. Pretty sure it wasn't described as an Orval hommage but that's what it tastes like and I'm here for that.
