Poured from 500mL bottle. Black with small beige head. Mild roast malt, old school, nothing special, but fine.

Brown colour. A bit of cocoa/fudgey sort of aromas on this. A bit of roast, more chocolate. It's got a touch of acidity but more alcohol, and the latter is what really takes over in the finish. Solid work.

Some dull red-purple-brown and no head. Some berry, no head. There’s bitterness.

Medium brown, hazy. Thin head. Light body, cocoa, thin with a touch of acidity. The flavours aren’t bad, could use more residual sugars to make them pop.

Dull hazy, no head. The ginger and lime are prominent. The base is a bit gloppy and yeasty, and the flavourings (ginger, lemongrass, lime & coriander) help it out a bit.

Quite pale. No head. Has a bit of bitterness and a sort of grainy pale malt. Tastes like cream ale, actually, more so than the actual cream ale. Not bad on that score.

Some haze, pale amber. No head. Nose has lots of rye and some fruity hops as well. Medium bitterness, decent malt, more of the phenols, and the rye comes through in the finish.

Hazy pale amber. Light toastiness, mild malts. A touch yeasty. Kind of a lighter old school APA.

Soft body, light fruits, apricot I guess. Fairly full, creamy body. Not much for bright hops but the light bitterness and the fruit go well.

Hazy, not much head. Sort of phenolic on the nose and a lot more on the palate. Malt-accented, fairly “golden ale” type thing.
